 A Day That Believed in Youth. A Day That Believed in Bangladesh.

On 29 November 2025, BRAC Centre Inn, Mohakhali transformed into a powerful gathering of hope, courage, and leadership as Mojar School organized the Odommo Youth Summit 2025 – 1st Edition. From 8 AM until the closing session at 5 PM, more than 250 young participants, development professionals, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and changemakers came together under one belief , “তরুণরাই আগামীর বাংলাদেশ নির্মাণ করবে।” 🇧🇩

This was not just an event. It was a promise.


A promise to build a more compassionate, ethical, and innovation-driven Bangladesh led by the youth.

 Opening That Touched Hearts

The summit began with a warm welcome and orientation led by Mehedi Hasan, Deputy Executive Director of Mojar School. Following the opening brief, singer Khayam Sanu Sandhi set the tone with the musical session “Music Cures Anxiety”, reminding participants that healing is also part of leadership.

The hall filled with energy, positivity, and purpose.

 Leadership, Integrity & Purpose — Session Highlights

Session 1.1: Workshop on Volunteering with Mojar School

Facilitated by Arian Arif, Founder & Executive Director, participants explored the heart of volunteerism, the journey of Mojar School, and the power of youth-driven social change across Bangladesh.



Session 1.2: Resilience, Courage & Integrity — The Foundations of a Leader

Brig Gen A J M Fazlur Rahman (Retd.), Executive Director of United Trust, delivered a powerful, emotional, and value-driven talk on ethical leadership — a reminder that character is the core of national development.

Session 2: Youth Contribution for Better Bangladesh

A diverse panel featuring
Monjila Jhuma, Sharmin Kabir, Md. Altamis Nabil, and Md. Sahariar Hasan Jiisun,
moderated by Atiqur Rahman, unpacked policy, activism, and youth agency.
The message was clear: Bangladesh needs youth voices — loud, informed, and courageous.

Session 3: Global Citizenship & Leadership in the 21st Century

Panelists Md. A Quayyum (UNDP), Alex M (LP4Y), Tahsinah Ahmed (BYLC), Kazi Fahad (JCI Bangladesh), and K.A.S. Murshid (Economist) explored global leadership, inclusive development, and the responsibilities of young Bangladeshis in the world we live in.

Session 4.1: Business Integrity & Nation Development

Industry icon Engr. Md. Abdul Awal, Founder & MD of The Structural Engineers Ltd., inspired youth to embrace honesty, accountability, and purpose in entrepreneurship and nation-building.

Session 4.2: Youth Entrepreneurship & Social Innovation

Powerful insights came from

Kazi Rushdi (Alfresco),
Sohel Siraj (Kacchi Bhai),
moderated by Arian Arif.
This session encouraged young people to dream boldly and innovate responsibly.

 Honoring Humanity – Friend of Street Children Award 2025

One of the most emotional moments was announcing the Friend of Street Children Award. This honored individuals and organizations working with deep compassion for street-connected children. It symbolized Mojar School’s belief that true leadership is service.

 Founder’s Note — A Promise for Tomorrow

Arian Arif, Founder of Mojar School, closed the summit with a heartfelt message:

“Today, I saw the future of Bangladesh in the eyes of 250 young people.
If we guide them, trust them, and invest in them —
the next decade will belong to Bangladesh. 🇧🇩
Odommo Youth Summit 2025 is only the beginning.
In 2026, we will return with the 2nd Edition — bigger, stronger, and more inclusive.”

 Closing — A New Beginning for Youth Leadership

The summit ended with group photos, certificates, and a shared understanding that leadership is not a title — it is a responsibility. And every young person carries that responsibility within them.

Odommo Youth Summit 2025 ended successfully, but the journey of building a compassionate, ethical, youth-led Bangladesh has only begun. 🇧🇩
