From Open Sky Classrooms to Global Platforms: My Journey to LP4Y Bangladesh
Life Event Update: A New Chapter Begins
I’m happy to share that I’ve recently taken on a new international responsibility as the Vice President of LP4Y Bangladesh (Life Project 4 Youth).
For those hearing about LP4Y for the first time:
LP4Y is a global youth-development organization working in 13 countries across Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America. Their mission is to support excluded and vulnerable young people to build skills, confidence and better futures through training, leadership development and real employment pathways. LP4Y is internationally respected, recognized by the United Nations, and has empowered thousands of young people around the world.
For me, this new responsibility is not just a title. It comes from the 13 years I spent building Mojar School from an open-sky class into a national model with 23 branches, serving 2,300 students, supported by more than 8,000 registered volunteers across Bangladesh. Working closely with street-connected children, running over 150,000 cooked meals yearly, managing a nationwide volunteer family and leading challenging field operations has shaped my understanding of youth potential, inclusion and real development work.
I believe this long journey will help me contribute meaningfully to LP4Y, especially in areas like community engagement, youth motivation, field operations and building sustainable development models. At the same time, LP4Y’s global experience in youth entrepreneurship, leadership and life-skills development will enrich my own understanding and help me grow further as a development professional.
Together, these two experiences will help me serve young people with stronger ideas, deeper insights and a wider global perspective.
Thank you to everyone who stood beside me with trust and support throughout all these years.
A new chapter begins — and we walk it together. 💙
