Transforming Lives: The Collaborative Journey of EMK Center and Mojar School
The "Learning English: Brightening Pathways for Underprivileged Learners" project, in collaboration with the EMK Center and Mojar School, began in June 2024 with the aim of transforming English language skills among 150 underprivileged students of Maniknagar branch. Over 16 days, we held 64 classes, amounting to 128 hours, focusing on breaking the fear of speaking English using interactive methods like role-playing, dialogue practice, FGD and self-presentation.
The impact of the project was significant. Students improved their speaking, pronunciation, and overall confidence in using English in daily conversations. This empowerment not only enhanced their academic skills but also opened doors for future opportunities, with many now dreaming of studying higher education and focused on English.
A detailed reporting system was in place throughout the project. Daily reports captured class activities, student engagement, and progress. Monthly reporting provided insights on key milestones and outcomes, while financial reports tracked all expenditures, accompanied by receipts and bank statements. A final report documented the entire project, supported by photographs, videos, reels, participant lists, and other necessary documentation.
We meticulously followed a pre-schedule and Gantt chart to ensure that all activities were completed on time. This structured approach helped monitor progress, adapt teaching strategies, and ensure the project’s smooth implementation.
The success of the program was celebrated with a closing ceremony, where certificates were distributed to 100 students. Representatives from both the EMK Center and Mojar School attended the event, marking a proud moment for the students who had worked diligently to enhance their language skills. The student's excitement and their progress reflected the dedication of the teachers, staff, and trainers who supported them throughout the project.
The collaboration between EMK Center and Mojar School proved to be an enriching experience for all involved, leaving a lasting impact on the student's educational journey and empowering them with the tools for future opportunities.
