🏃‍♂️🌟 **First Half Marathon Complete! 🌟🏃‍♂️ June 2024

Today ( 7 June 2024 ) , I conquered my first 21.1 km half marathon at Hatirjheel, Dhaka! Starting from the Rampura Bridge end, after 3 laps around Hatirjheel, I crossed the finish line at the amphitheater near Police Plaza, Gulshan. Last week, my best pace was 10.56 km/h, but today, I managed a steady 10.01 km/h.

At 33+, I never imagined I'd complete a half marathon, but I did it! My goal is to run 33+ half marathons by the time I'm 66. Running for health is my motto. A huge thank you to Aminur Islam for gifting me the shoes that helped so much and to Shuvo, who ran the 21.1 km with me without registration, just to inspire me.

Organized by Bangladesh Police, the "Joy Bangla Marathon 2024 (Half Marathon)" was an incredible event. Reflecting on 2021, the year of uncertainty due to COVID, I realized how vital immunity is. From 2013 to 2021, I dedicated myself to Mojar School and found myself physically weak. Since then, I've committed to running and swimming, no matter what.

Despite the challenges and a busy professional life, I never gave up. Today, I am overjoyed to have completed my first half marathon without injury and within the cutoff time.

Happy and excited for what's to come! ðŸĨģ
